The tulip blooms fully once — and when it does, it's complete. That's the standard we set for every treatment, every patient, every day since 2015.
When Dr. Sumit Firke completed his fellowship training and looked at the dental landscape in Maharashtra, the pattern was obvious: fellowship-level care — implants, full mouth rehabilitation, advanced cosmetic work — existed in South Mumbai and Pune. In Dombivli, patients were being referred out for procedures that a properly equipped specialist clinic could deliver locally.
So he came back. Tulip Dental opened in Dombivli East in 2015 with a clear thesis: bring specialist-level care to patients who shouldn't have to commute 90 minutes each way for a dental implant consultation.
Eleven years later, the thesis is proven. Over 8,000 patients are treated each year. Almost all of them found us through referrals — patients recommending us to family and neighbours, not through advertising.
The tulip blooms fully once. When it opens, it opens completely — not partially, not adequately. Completely.
That's the standard the name demands of us. Every root canal, every implant, every veneer is finished fully or not presented to the patient. Half-finished work doesn't leave our clinic. If a case requires an additional appointment to be right, we take the additional appointment.
The name also reflects our approach to communication. Patients at Tulip Dental receive complete information — what the treatment involves, what it costs, what happens if they don't treat it, and what alternatives exist. Not a version of the information designed to minimise friction. The complete version.
We do not recommend treatments to generate revenue. Every treatment plan is evaluated against a simple question: would we recommend this for someone we love? If the answer is no, we don't recommend it.
Patients receive the full picture — what each treatment involves, costs, alternatives, and consequences of not treating. We don't filter information to make a treatment easier to sell. Informed patients make better decisions. Better decisions lead to better outcomes.
Your implant is placed by Dr. Sumit Firke. Your veneer is designed and fitted by Dr. Nirmita. Your child is seen by Dr. Sayli. The specialist handles the specialist's work — not a junior, not a trainee, not whoever is available.
"We started Tulip Dental because Dombivli deserved better dental care than it had access to. Not better dentists — the dentists were here. Better infrastructure, better training, and a practice model built around honesty rather than transaction volume."— Dr. Sumit Firke, Founder, Tulip Dental
